Who
will be my supervisor?
There are five active CPE supervisors at our center.
Your supervisor may be any one of these.
To what extent are chaplains integrated
into the hospital?
Chaplains have been employed here since the early 1900's. Chaplains
are counted upon to be actively involved in the care of the patients,
and CPE is integrated into the interdisciplinary treatment teams.

Chaplains
participate in all sorts of leadership capacities at Florida Hospital,
in addition to their function as pastor on their units and in
the hospital community.
What kinds of patients are at Florida
Hospital?
Patients come from all over the southeast and Caribbean. There
is a wide diversity of socioeconomic, ethnic, and religious background
represented in both the patients and the staff. See

With
specialized medical services and Centers of Excellence, we are
able to care for a variety of patients at many levels of acuity.
How many people are typically in the
CPE program?
Most groups are 4-6 people. As much as is possible, the group
is made up of people from varying backgrounds, ethticities, faith
traditions and cultures.
